Course Description

Concussion management often requires a comprehensive approach that addresses multiple aspects of neurological recovery. In this session, we explore ancillary procedures that may complement standard concussion treatment strategies. Participants will examine how concussive injuries affect brain metabolism, neural signaling, and cognitive performance. The lecture reviews additional therapeutic approaches that may be integrated into concussion rehabilitation to support symptom resolution and functional recovery. By considering multimodal treatment strategies, clinicians can better address the complex neurological changes that occur following head injury. This session highlights how supportive procedures may enhance patient care when combined with thorough clinical evaluation and individualized rehabilitation strategies.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understand neurological changes associated with concussion.
  • Recognize common clinical approaches used in concussion management.
  • Identify ancillary procedures that may support neurological recovery.
  • Explore multimodal treatment strategies for concussion rehabilitation.
  • Apply comprehensive approaches to improve patient recovery outcomes.
