Description

This 25-hour course is Part 2 in a six-part series designed to equip clinicians with advanced diagnostic and management strategies for dysautonomia and related autonomic syndromes. Participants will explore a modern clinical framework for identifying and treating conditions like POTS, orthostatic intolerance, autonomic overactivity, autonomic failure, cerebral hypoperfusion, and small fiber neuropathy. Real-world case applications and testing protocols such as tilt-table analysis, sudomotor testing, and skin biopsies are covered to support functional, evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

What you’ll learn:

  • Differentiate between subtypes of orthostatic intolerance syndromes, including POTS and vasovagal syncope.
  • Identify patterns of autonomic underactivity and overactivity using clinical tools and physiologic testing.
  • Evaluate small fiber neuropathy and cerebral autoregulatory dysfunction through biopsy and sudomotor testing.
  • Apply personalized rehabilitation strategies for mTBI-related dysautonomia, gastroparesis, and neurodegenerative conditions.
