Description

This 25-hour course focuses on the clinical application of diagnostic and treatment strategies for individuals across the autism spectrum, including Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and Rett Syndrome. Participants will learn evidence-based evaluation tools, co-management protocols, and intervention strategies that include applied behavioral analysis (ABA), social skills training, medications, speech-language therapy, and occupational therapy. The course emphasizes a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach to improving outcomes and quality of life for individuals with ASD.

What you’ll learn:

  • Evaluate ASD presentations using clinical assessment tools and diagnostic criteria.
  • Differentiate between Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and Rett Syndrome.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions including ABA, SLP, OT, and medication.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans for comprehensive spectrum management.
