Course Description
Clinical case studies provide valuable opportunities for clinicians to refine diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making. In this session, David Traster presents real-world patient scenarios designed to challenge and expand clinical thinking. Participants will examine complex neurological presentations and explore how clinicians analyze symptoms, examination findings, and patient history to develop appropriate care strategies. The lecture highlights how diagnostic reasoning evolves as new information emerges and encourages practitioners to think critically when evaluating patient presentations. By working through real clinical cases, participants gain insight into how experienced clinicians approach uncertainty and adapt treatment strategies. This session reinforces the importance of careful observation, structured examination, and thoughtful clinical reasoning when managing patients with complex neurological conditions.
What you’ll learn:
- Understand how clinical case studies strengthen diagnostic reasoning.
- Recognize key steps in evaluating complex neurological presentations.
- Identify clinical examination findings that guide decision-making.
- Explore approaches to developing treatment strategies in challenging cases.
- Apply structured reasoning to improve patient care outcomes.
