Course Description
Performing artists such as dancers, acrobats, and stage performers often engage in physically demanding activities similar to competitive athletes. In this ISCN lecture, Dr. Jeff Russell examines the occurrence and management of concussion in performing artists, highlighting how these individuals may face significant risk of head injury. The session explores the neurological mechanisms of concussion and the symptoms that may arise following head impacts.
