Course Description
This 15-hour foundational course introduces clinicians to the core concepts of Functional Neurology and Nervous System Optimization. Participants will explore how treatments impact the brain, recognize when suboptimization occurs, and learn to apply brain-based strategies for targeting specific neurological structures. Topics include neuron theory, transneuronal degeneration, diaschisis, motor and sensory system assessment, and functional integration of the vestibular, visual, cognitive, and autonomic systems. Through clinical applications and practical demonstrations, attendees will gain critical tools for optimizing patient outcomes across neurological and chronic pain cases.

- Understand Functional Neurology concepts including neuron theory, plasticity, and brain targeting strategies.
- Assess neurological function using tools for motor, vestibular, visual, somatosensory, cognitive, and autonomic systems.
