Course Description
Functional Neurology Essentials® is a 50-hour immersive program designed to establish a strong clinical foundation in systems-based neurological assessment and rehabilitation. This course introduces clinicians to the core principles that define Functional Neurology, including hemisphericity, localization, neuroplasticity, nervous system optimization, and measurable neurological mapping. Participants will learn how to identify regions of functional underactivation across cortical, cerebellar, brainstem, basal ganglia, thalamic, and peripheral systems. Emphasis is placed on structured examination algorithms, autonomic assessment, vestibular integration, and cerebellar modeling to guide targeted interventions. The program integrates bottom-up and top-down neurorehabilitation strategies using evidence-informed dosing and application. Functional Neurology Essentials® provides the clinical reasoning framework required to build precision-based neurological care.
