Description

This upcoming online module explores the real-world management of concussion sequela, with a focus on clinical efficiency and functional recovery. Participants will learn how to apply evidence-supported therapeutic strategies across systems affected by mTBI—cardiovascular, vestibular, musculoskeletal, visual, and cognitive. You'll also gain tools for crafting high-quality reports of findings, navigating return-to-activity protocols, and expanding the reach of your concussion practice. The module introduces considerations for moderate-to-severe brain injuries and opens the discussion on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

What you’ll learn:

  • Implement efficient tools and workflows to enhance concussion care delivery.
  • Apply evidence-informed palliative and rehabilitative interventions across multiple systems.
  • Develop return-to-play and return-to-activity protocols rooted in functional neurology.
  • Construct compelling, patient-centered reports of findings to guide care plans.
  • Recognize key differences between mild, moderate, and severe brain injuries, including early CTE concepts.
