Description
This 15-hour course explores the neurochemical and endocrine systems through a functional neurology lens. Scholars will study hypothalamic-pituitary relationships, hormone regulation, and the neurological impact of endocrine disorders. Conditions covered include hyperprolactinemia, thyroid disease, Cushing’s syndrome, Addison’s disease, diabetes, and reproductive hormone imbalances. Emphasis is placed on interpreting lab tests, imaging, and applying evidence-based rehabilitation strategies to restore neuroendocrine function and improve patient outcomes.

- Understand the structure and function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-endocrine axis.
- Identify endocrine disorders and their neurological manifestations.
- Interpret key lab tests and imaging for endocrine and neurochemical conditions.
- Apply clinical and rehab strategies to support hormone regulation and CNS recovery.
