Description
This 15-hour on-demand course, taught by Dr. Kenneth Jay, is designed to keep clinicians current with the latest developments in neuroscience research. Scholars will review recent peer-reviewed studies using an 8-step critical analysis framework that translates research findings into real-world clinical applications. Topics span brain injury, concussion, neurofeedback, vestibular migraine, ADHD, sleep, anxiety, yoga, meditation, and exercise. Each module includes guided article review, lecture, and a quiz to reinforce understanding and clinical relevance. The course also serves as continuing education for professionals maintaining diplomate or fellowship status.
What you’ll learn:
- Apply an 8-step analysis model to assess the validity and clinical relevance of neuroscience research.
- Translate current findings in TBI, concussion, and neurofeedback into clinical strategies.
- Evaluate the effects of lifestyle interventions—yoga, aerobic exercise, meditation—on brain function and neuroplasticity.
- Understand emerging evidence related to vestibular migraine, ADHD, sleep, anxiety, and brain empathy networks post-injury.
