Description

This 15-hour on-demand course is designed to keep clinicians current with rapidly evolving neuroscience research. Led by Dr. Mike Nelson, the program applies the Carrick Institute’s 8-step critical analysis model to dissect and apply findings from peer-reviewed literature on topics including astaxanthin, cannabis, omega-3s, photobiomodulation, methylene blue, psychedelics, and neuroprotection in conditions like concussion, PTSD, and Alzheimer’s. Each chapter includes article review, lecture, and quiz to reinforce clinical relevance. The course also fulfills CE hours for diplomate and fellowship maintenance.

What you’ll learn:

  • Apply an 8-step research analysis model to evaluate emerging neuroscience literature.
  • Assess clinical relevance of compounds like astaxanthin, methylene blue, and cannabidiol.
