Description
This module equips clinicians with integrative tools to support sensory, visual, and cognitive recovery following concussion. Participants will learn to identify sensory processing dysfunctions, implement orthoptic training to restore ocular motor function, and apply progressive cognitive rehabilitation strategies. The course emphasizes layering therapeutic modalities for optimal neuroplastic recovery in post-concussion care
What you’ll learn:
- Identify sensory processing deficits common in post-concussion patients and apply integrative therapeutic interventions.
- Perform and prescribe orthoptic exercises to improve binocular vision and oculomotor control.
- Design layered cognitive rehabilitation protocols that target memory, attention, and executive function.
- Integrate sensory, visual, and cognitive therapies into a cohesive clinical rehabilitation plan.
