Course Description
Advances in neuroscience research provide the foundation for many modern clinical innovations. In this session, George Kukurin explores how discoveries in basic neuroscience are translated into novel clinical applications. The lecture examines how laboratory-based studies of neural structure, function, and plasticity contribute to new diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies. Participants will review the process through which scientific discoveries progress from experimental research to clinical implementation. By understanding this translational pathway, clinicians gain insight into how emerging technologies and treatment approaches are developed. This session highlights the importance of bridging basic research with clinical practice and encourages practitioners to consider how evolving neuroscience discoveries may shape the future of neurological care.
