Course Description
Autism Spectrum Disorder involves challenges in social interaction, communication, and behavior. In this session, Matthew Worth explores how the Mirror Neuron System may play a role in rehabilitation strategies. Participants will examine how observation and imitation influence learning and social cognition. The lecture reviews how activating mirror neuron pathways can support motor learning and behavioral development. By incorporating these principles into therapeutic approaches, clinicians can develop strategies aimed at improving social and functional outcomes in individuals with ASD. This session highlights the integration of neuroscience and rehabilitation in neurodevelopmental care.
