NEW YEAR, NEW SCHOLAR —

OFFICIAL PROMOTION RULES

1. Promotion Overview

The New Year, New Scholar Promotion (“Promotion”) rewards eligible referrers with a Carrick Institute education coupon based on qualifying enrollments made by new scholars they refer during January 2026.

‍

2. Eligibility

Referrers:
Open to individuals age 18 or older with an active and complete Carrick Institute Scholar Profile. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Carrick Institute, Inc. are not eligible.

‍

New Scholars (Definition):
A “New Scholar” is an individual who:

1. enrolls in and pays for Carrick Institute coursework between January 1–31, 2026, and
2. has not taken a Carrick Institute course within the past ten (10) years.

‍

Self-referrals are not permitted. Each New Scholar may designate only one referring person.

‍

3. How Referrals Are Credited

• At checkout, the New Scholar must list the referring person as their referral source.
• Referral sources cannot be added, changed, or corrected after checkout — no exceptions.
• Only paid enrollments count toward referral totals. Complimentary enrollments, scholarships, or trial access do not qualify.

4. Referral Reward

At the close of January 2026, Carrick Institute will total the amount actually paid during January by all eligible New Scholars attributed to each referrer.

‍

On February 1, 2026, each qualifying referrer will receive a Carrick Institute coupon valued at 15% of the total eligible referral spending.

‍

There is no limit to the total coupon value a referrer may earn.

‍

5. Coupon Use & Limitations

• One-time use only. Any unused value is forfeited.
• If the purchase exceeds the coupon value, the remaining balance must be paid in full.
• Coupon has no cash value, is non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
• Stackable: Coupon may be combined with other promotions, discounts, or credits unless otherwise stated.
• Coupon is valid only for educational offerings available for purchase on the Carrick Institute website between Febrauary 1, 2026 to March 1, 2026.
• Coupons expire March 1, 2026.

Transferability:
Coupons may be transferred one time upon written request from the referrer using the verified email on file. The recipient must have a completed Scholar Profile. All original terms and expiration dates apply.

6. Refunds, Cancellations & Adjustments

• If a referred purchase is refunded, canceled, or charged back, the associated referral value will be deducted from the referrer’s total.
• If such adjustments occur after a coupon is issued, Carrick Institute may void or adjust the coupon accordingly.

7. Payment Plans

Referral value will be calculated based on the actual dollar amount paid during January 2026, including payments applied toward eligible installment or financing plans.

Payments made outside the January window do not count toward totals.

8. General Conditions

By participating, participants agree to:

• Be bound by these Official Rules and Carrick Institute decisions, which are final.
• Allow verification of eligibility and referral accuracy prior to coupon issuance.
• Accept that Carrick Institute may modify or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other unforeseen issues arise.

Fraudulent or manipulative referral activity may result in disqualification.

Void where prohibited.

‍

9. Limitation of Liability

Carrick Institute, Inc. is not responsible for technical issues, lost communications, or system errors affecting referral tracking. Participants agree that Carrick Institute is not liable for damages arising from participation or coupon use, except where prohibited by law.
