Our featured system, Mito2, brings Intermittent Hypoxic-Hyperoxic Training (IHHT) into the practice. Clients breathe through a mask while the system alternates lower-oxygen intervals with oxygen-rich recovery, providing an accessible way to introduce simulated altitude training into a whole-body wellness program. Automated protocols and real-time oxygen-saturation monitoring help operators deliver structured, repeatable sessions. Our broader lineup supports spinal traction, cervical traction, knee traction, and PEMF wellness services. Back On Trac and Cervi-Trac are FDA 510(k) cleared. Ergo-Flex Technologies also serves as an authorized distributor of InhaleH2 molecular hydrogen inhalation equipment. From selecting the right system to preparing your team and launching the service, we help practices turn equipment into a practical addition to their existing workflow.

"I’m proud of it because I can address clients’ wellness goals like I never have been able to before."— Tony DeRamus, DC, Founder & CEO, Sandstone Chiropractic, Montgomery, Texas

Questions clinicians ask first

Straight answers on how Hoolest devices work and who they're for.

Q: Who manufactures the equipment?

A: Ergo-Flex Technologies, based in Conroe, Texas, manufactures Mito2, SomaCharge, Knee On Trac, Back On Trac, and Cervi-Trac. We also distribute InhaleH2 as an authorized distributor; InhaleH2 manufactures that system.

Q: What makes Mito2 the featured product?

A: Mito2 adds Responsive Oxygen Training, also called IHHT or simulated altitude training, to a practice's wellness services. Instead of focusing on one joint or body region, it uses controlled oxygen intervals as a whole-body training stimulus. It is designed for general wellness and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Q: What happens during a Mito2 session?

A: The client sits comfortably and breathes through a mask as the system alternates lower-oxygen air with oxygen-rich recovery. The operator selects an appropriate protocol and monitors the session, including oxygen saturation. Session duration and progression depend on the selected program and individual response.

Q: How does Mito2 differ from hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

A: Mito2 varies oxygen concentration at normal room pressure to provide interval training. HBOT uses a pressurized chamber. They use different delivery methods and should be evaluated separately for suitability, intended use, and evidence.

Q: What is SomaCharge?

A: SomaCharge is Ergo-Flex Technologies' professional pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) wellness system. It provides adjustable intensity and frequency, pulse and continuous modes, and applicators for targeted or broader-area sessions. It can add a relaxation and recovery-focused wellness service to an existing practice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Q: What is Knee On Trac?

A: Knee On Trac is an automated knee traction system manufactured by Ergo-Flex Technologies. It applies controlled distraction to the knee joint during seated sessions, typically lasting 5–10 minutes. Clinicians can incorporate it into an individualized knee-care program based on patient assessment and the device's instructions.

Q: What are Back On Trac and Cervi-Trac?

A: Back On Trac is Ergo-Flex Technologies' FDA 510(k) cleared spinal traction chair with 21 automated protocols. Cervi-Trac is our FDA 510(k) cleared cervical traction attachment, available as an upgrade to the Back On Trac system. It adds adjustable cervical traction to the same chair. Both require appropriate professional oversight and use according to their labeling.

Q: What is InhaleH2, and how is it different from Mito2?

A: InhaleH2 delivers molecular hydrogen through a mask and reservoir system for general wellness use. Mito2 changes oxygen concentration for interval training; InhaleH2 delivers a different gas for a different wellness application. Ergo-Flex Technologies distributes InhaleH2 and manufactures Mito2.

Q: Which system fits a functional neurology or rehabilitation practice?

A: Start with your patient population, practice goals, existing services, staffing, and available space. Mito2 introduces oxygen-based wellness training; SomaCharge adds PEMF wellness sessions; Back On Trac and Cervi-Trac provide spinal traction; Knee On Trac provides targeted knee traction. Our team can walk you through product fit and implementation. These products do not replace a clinical evaluation or establish treatment claims for neurological conditions.

Q: Are all products FDA cleared?

A: Back On Trac and Cervi-Trac are FDA 510(k) cleared. That clearance should not be represented as FDA approval or applied to Mito2, SomaCharge, Knee On Trac, or InhaleH2. Each product has its own intended use and operating requirements.

Q: What training and support are available?

A: Ergo-Flex Technologies provides product-specific equipment education, implementation resources, and ongoing support. Mito2 operator education is available through O2 Pro Academy; SomaCharge includes AOPP training and certification. Ask our team to confirm exactly what is included in your selected package, including accessories, marketing resources, warranty, and service coverage.

Q: What screening, staffing, and facility requirements should we consider?

A: Review each device's instructions, contraindications, supervision requirements, electrical needs, footprint, and cleaning procedures before purchase. Assess individual suitability and use qualified clinical judgment. Automated operation does not remove the need for appropriate screening, setup, monitoring, and staff availability. Our team can review these requirements with you.

Q: What does the equipment cost, and can I arrange a demonstration?

A: Contact Ergo-Flex Technologies for current pricing, package options, financing availability, delivery timing, and a product demonstration. Identify yourself as a Carrick Institute scholar and ask about any current partner benefits. Financing is subject to approval; insurance reimbursement and financial results are not guaranteed.
