The Maverick Gym

The Maverick Gym makes The Maverick, a 3D training frame shaped like an icosahedron. Numbered, color-coded targets surround your patient on every plane, so you can combine visual, vestibular, proprioceptive, cognitive and strength work in one whole-body movement space.

Founder Lucas Koenecke, MS, CSCS, is a Z-Health Master Trainer. He built The Maverick in 2019 with guidance from Dr. Eric Cobb of Z-Health Performance Solutions. Today it's used by clinicians, rehab teams and performance coaches who want to take neuro-based exercise off the table and into real, multi-planar movement.

Why choose
The Maverick Gym

Built for the way clinicians work

What partners and scholars consistently point to when they choose #1#.

• Take the drills you already use (eye movements, head turns, balance, dual-task) and put them into standing, 3D movement

• Targets on every plane give patients a clear external focus and let you call cues fast

• Train central and peripheral vision, balance and decision speed at the same time

• Scale it from early rehab and beginners to athletes, pilots and tactical clients

• One footprint covers vision, vestibular, cognitive and strength work, so you don't need a room full of separate tools

What clinicians say

"The Maverick has transformed our rehab process, integrating proprioceptive, vision, and vestibular training for a complete recovery experience. It's also fun to use!"‍Andy Clower, Neuro Integration Specialist

Questions clinicians ask first

What is The Maverick? A 3D training frame shaped like an icosahedron, with targets around the patient at every angle. It combines visual, vestibular, proprioceptive, cognitive and strength work in one tool.

How does it fit into a functional neurology or rehab practice? It takes chair and table drills into standing, multi-planar movement. Patients reach, step and track targets while you layer in eye movements, head turns, balance or cognitive tasks.

Who can use it? Patients at any level, from early rehab and beginners to athletes, pilots, military and first responders. You scale it by changing the target, the movement and the cognitive load.

How much space does it need? It fits in most clinic and gym spaces. Lucas can send dimensions and help you plan the layout.

How do I see it in action? Book a demo with Lucas. He'll walk you through drills and show you how other clinicians use it.
