Course Description

This 15-hour course provides a detailed exploration of the structure, function, and clinical relevance of the frontal and parietal lobes. Scholars will examine gyri anatomy, afferent/efferent pathways, and vascular supply while analyzing how these brain regions influence movement, cognition, emotion, and sensory integration. The course covers neurological exam strategies, lesion localization, and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to improve function and support neuroplasticity.

What you’ll learn:

  • Identify anatomical structures and functional zones of the frontal and parietal lobes.
  • Assess posture, movement, behavior, and sensory processing through neurological exams.
  • Recognize vascular, metabolic, and autoimmune causes of lobe dysfunction.
  • Apply targeted rehabilitation strategies based on hemispheric function and brain plasticity.
