Description

This 15-hour course offers a deep dive into the structure, function, and clinical relevance of the vestibular system. Participants will study the peripheral and central vestibular pathways responsible for balance, spatial orientation, and eye movement control. The course covers assessment techniques, diagnostic procedures like caloric testing and posturography, and the management of conditions such as BPPV, vertigo, oscillopsia, and vestibular neuritis. Emphasis is placed on non-pharmaceutical rehabilitation strategies, including vestibular training and canal repositioning.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understand the anatomy and function of peripheral and central vestibular systems.
  • Differentiate between peripheral and central vestibular disorders.
  • Perform diagnostic tests including VNG, caloric testing, and posturography.
  • Apply vestibular rehabilitation techniques to improve balance and spatial orientation.
