In-Person Course

This module provides an in-depth exploration of the cerebellum and vestibular system, two essential neurological structures responsible for coordinating movement, maintaining balance, and supporting higher-order cognitive function. Scholars will begin with the cerebellum—historically identified by Leonardo da Vinci—examining its classical role in motor control and its emerging influence on cognition and emotion. The course will then focus on the vestibular system’s anatomy and central connectivity, highlighting its critical contribution to spatial orientation and postural stability.

Throughout the module, clinicians will learn to assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of cerebellar and vestibular dysfunctions. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-informed, non-pharmaceutical strategies to restore balance and neurological integration.
