Donna Kimmaliardjuk

Dr. Donna Kimmaliardjuk is a cardiac surgeon at Cleveland Clinic, specializing in adult cardiovascular surgery with a focus on coronary artery disease and bypass procedures. She is board certified in cardiac surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Kimmaliardjuk earned her medical degree from the University of Calgary and completed her cardiac surgery residency at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She subsequently completed an advanced cardiac surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic before joining the medical staff.

Her clinical work includes a range of coronary artery bypass techniques, including off-pump (beating heart), multi-arterial, and minimally invasive procedures. She has performed hundreds of open-heart surgeries and has a particular interest in advancing surgical approaches to coronary revascularization.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kimmaliardjuk has been involved in research for over a decade, contributing to studies on cardiovascular outcomes and population health, including work focused on Indigenous health.
