About
Sergio F. Azzolino
Dr. Sergio Azzolino is a clinician and educator with experience in functional neurology, integrative medicine, and neuroimmunology. He has been in clinical practice since 1995 and works with patients presenting with complex neurological and chronic health conditions.
Dr. Azzolino earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, graduating summa cum laude. He later expanded his clinical scope by obtaining licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He holds board certification in chiropractic neurology and has completed additional training in functional medicine and clinical research, including participation in the Harvard Medical School Global Clinical Scholar Research Program .
His clinical work focuses on neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, vestibular and movement disorders, and other complex presentations. He has also been involved in interdisciplinary care and has worked with patients across a range of populations, including athletes.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Azzolino has held leadership and academic roles. He has served on the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, including as Chairman, and has been involved with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, where he has held multiple leadership positions. He also contributes to postgraduate education and serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology with the Carrick Institute .
Dr. Azzolino’s work reflects an interest in integrating clinical care, research, and education in the management of neurological and complex health conditions.
